I work in Straznice but I come from and live in Blatnice under St. Antonius (St. Antonius is a hill under which the village of Blatnice is located).

Blatnice has a long history of viticulture and is located in South Moravia, which is well known for its wine growing tradition. It is typical for the people from Moravian Slovakia (this is the name of the region where I live) to have a vineyard, grow and make their own wine.

In fact, for many of them it is a hobby, and I admit for my grandfather and father, it is one, too. Our vineyard is on a hill so when we are working it, we get a nice view on the village and the forests around :-).
